When in doubt, write it out!

Do you write yourself reminder notes or perhaps simple lists such as items you want when you go grocery shopping? How likely are you to stick to that list and get the items you actually need versus just going and relying on your memory? For most of us, writing things down, whether it be a grocery list, a schedule for the following day, or a workout routine, we are more likely to follow through with our thoughts or tasks if they are written down somewhere!

I talk very often about having a plan, setting goals and tracking our nutrition intake in an app for a good reason! These are consistent behaviors that I have seen in individuals that succeed in their health and wellness goals. It doesn’t need to be perfect…it can be messy, it can be in your notes section of your phone with lots of typos…just get it out on paper or in your phone and see what a difference it can make!
