How Gen Z changing business!

The new youth of America better known as Gen Z is changing and reshaping the world in which we live in. Gen Z is formally defined as: “Generation Z (or Gen Z for short), colloquially known as zoomers, is the demographic cohort succeeding Millennials and preceding Generation Alpha. Researchers and popular media use the mid to late 1990s as starting birth years and the 2010s as ending birth years.” Or simply put, the younger cool kids we don’t really understand! We may not understand their fashion or their slang but understanding how they are changing the business world may be critical to our future success.

One thing Gen Z is doing better at than any generation before is implementing work-life balance. They value flexibility the ability to work when they want and where there want. They will often choose a more interesting flexible job over a high-paying boring and secure job. This generation has the entrepreneurial mentality, they are open to taking risks and going for it all. When you combine this mentality with the industry of network marketing you have a recipe for success. Which is why Gen Z has found a way to make it their own using technology.

Gen Z thrives off technology, let’s face it they know it sometimes better than those that code it. Which is why Gen Z is taking their business online and growing them larger than every imagined. Using their daily blogs, vlogs and influencer status to sell the world on whatever it is they want. Think about it this way, are you on TikTok? Are your kids or nieces and nephews on TikTok? Regardless of that answer, I know you have heard of it a time or two. TikTok has become one of the single most powerful marketing platforms not to mention it is completely free and reaches an audience of one billion people. Gen Z made this platform what it is today and continue to grow it.

Gen Z values social awareness, environmental practices, and overall values, basically Gen Z only wants to work with companies that do good for the world. This is important to note because over the next decade this will cause a huge shift in the way companies operate to produce goods. In no consideration was given to workers or the environment but rather the best way to produce the largest profits causing the environment and people to suffer globally. Gen Z will eventually force companies to operate sustainably and to hire a diverse workforce at fair pay creating a better future for all.

Overall, Gen Z is here to stay which means the older generations will have to change to keep up. Specifically in the industry of network marketing I encourage you to expand your digital reach, share your core values, providing personal experiences and focus on how you are making changes for a better future.
